Just Waiting for the Darkroom

As I was flipping through some blogs of fellow photographers, I saw that someone had decided to do posts of what was going on along with their photos (as in, there were no photos in the post). I thought it was an interesting idea, sort of a review of what was going on in class and in the photography world.

Anyway, here is everything. We've started to take photos for our portrait project, and I've already almost finished (one frame left). I thought today was the due date, but we start developing the film on FRIDAY. Wonderful. This always happens to me; I do half my roll over the weekend, then panic on Monday and think that I have to get it done at lunch, ending up "wasting" the rest of my film. So, if it ends up that my project isn't very good, I apologize. However, Jake was very willing to do some with me. I'm unsure if any will turn out... Well, non-creepy. He was fondling an orange the entire time.

After being sick for so long, I am way behind on my light project. I'm going to have to do my contact sheet today in class, then stay after school either tomorrow or Wednesday to do the rest of the prints for my self-portraits and my light project. I just hope I can get it all done in time so it won't get too bad of a grade (which is already suffering due to unknown causes).

I am contemplating using another roll to do some freelance work (mainly portraits, just in case my roll of portraits is bad). Does anyone know if Hohman will be able to get more film in the future, in case I end up messing up and needing more film than I have? Also, does anyone know where to get Arista.Edu Ultra 400 iso film in the future? It would be nice to continue using film and after school darkroom even after this class is over.
